Doctorate in Legal Sciences (U.C.Louvain)
Alexia de Vaucleroy is a senior associate practising mainly in civil and commercial litigation and business law. Her practice covers a wide range of complex disputes, from contractual disputes to shareholder disputes and liability law. She regularly acts in cases before the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
She graduated in law from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2015 (magna cum laude) and also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Université Saint-Louis (magna cum laude). She continued her studies at the London School of Economics, where she obtained an LL.M. in International Law in 2016.
In 2021, she defended a doctoral thesis entitled ‘Les obligations de comportement en droit international public. Due diligence and international liability’.
Alongside her career as a lawyer, Alexia de Vaucleroy is a visiting lecturer at the Catholic University of Louvain.
She speaks French and English and has a professional knowledge of Dutch.
